This train consisted of two six-car E259 series trains coupled together to form a 12-car formation. The train in this photo is the last car of the second half of the formation, and the N'EX logo near the left edge of the photo is from the old livery. The transition to the new paint scheme took nearly a year and was completed in March 2024.
The red boats at Myojin Pond (明神池) are traditional, vermilion-lacquered Shinto festival vessels. Tied up at the wooden pier of Ichinoike (the first pond), they are a primary visual anchor for photographers, providing a vivid splash of red that contrasts sharply with the crystal-clear water and the green pine forests.
