In contrast to the two Castle loco's in pristine condition at St Philips Marsh, on 7 May 1964 Jubilees 45682 Trafalgar and 45557 New Brunswick, in less than pristine condition, frame the roundhouse at Bristol Barrow Road (82E). 45557 was booked out on 4N29 16.48 St Philips Yard to Leeds, while 45682, by now the shed's final remaining Jubilee was on Diesel Standby. Next day, 8 May, 45682 Trafalgar would head north for the last time, working 1E64 8.40 Temple Meads to Sheffield. On its return the loco received a washout, but fractured a cylinder working an ecs special to Bath Green Park on 18 May and was withdrawn some two weeks later. Scrapping took place at a scrapyard in Swansea South Wales. 45557 was allocated to Burton and Derby sheds for the last five years of its working life, was withdrawn in September 1964 and cut up at Cashmores Great Bridge.
