Australian National Alcos DA3/603 place grain hoppers for loading at the Jamestown silos South Australia, on 28 February 1997. DA3, formerly 835, was involved in a level crossing incident later the same year and subsequently scrapped.

In 1986 the state of South Australia celebrated its sesquicentenary. The federally owned Australian National, which was headquartered in SA, formed a special Jubilee train that travelled around the state on both broad and standard gauge.
On 18 March 1986, ALCo 955 is seen hauling the train through Ambleside en route to visiting towns on the broad gauge branch lines out in the Murray Mallee.

Below a brilliant sky on the evening of Monday, April 15, 2024, a pair of the Arkansas & Missouri Railroad's Alco C420s rest at the depot in Springdale, AR. A haven for Alco diesels, the A&M employs over a dozen of the old workhorses for both freight and passenger excursion service.
C'est sous un temps bien nuageux mais ensoleillé comme on aime dans le sud en cette matinée du Jeudi 18 Avril 2024, en compagnie, qu'est capturés la BB 22385 Béton en-tête de son petit Naviland pour Fos-Graveleau ! Le convoie passe peu-avant la courbe qui le mène à Névian !

Tra Basilea Dreispitz e la stazione FFS, le linee BLT 10 e 11 percorrono un breve tratto di tracciato su un ponte a loro dedicato, che segue il fascio di binari FFS. Dalla fermata Peter Merian ivi posizionata si gode di una bella vista sul traffico ferroviario in entrata e in uscita. Proprio qui transita un’ennesima volta l’unico Schindler in servizio sulla linea 11 quel giorno. /// Zwischen Basel Dreispitz und dem Bahnhof SBB fahren die BLT-Linien 10 und 11 ein kurzes Stück auf einer eigens für sie errichteten Brücke, die dem SBB-Gleisfeld folgt. Von der dort befindlichen Haltestelle Peter Merian hat man einen schönen Blick auf den ein- und ausfahrenden Zugverkehr. Hier fährt der einzige Schindler, der an diesem Tag auf der Linie 11 im Einsatz ist, durch.

Al ritorno da Aesch alla volta di St.Louis, l’unità Schindler in servizio sulla linea 11 viene fotografata in Claraplatz. Normalmente, nessuna linea BLT percorre questo tratto di binari, bensì si trattava di una deviazione per il cantiere nel centro cittadino. Pochi istanti dopo la foto un altro fotografo residente in città minacciava di rompermi gli occhiali, non contento del mio atteggiamento di pari trattamento nei confronti di chi, a ogni occasione per farlo, si piazza davanti alla fotocamera degli altri. Un saluto! /// Auf der Rückfahrt von Aesch nach St.Louis wird der Schindler-Triebwagen der Linie 11 am Claraplatz fotografiert. Normalerweise fährt auf dieser Ast keine BLT-Linie, aber es war eine Umleitung für die Baustelle im Stadtzentrum. Wenige Augenblicke nach der Aufnahme drohte mir ein anderer Fotograf die Brille zu zerbrechen, weil er mit meiner Haltung, sprich Gleichbehandlung gegenüber jenen, die sich bei jeder Gelegenheit vor die Kameras anderer stellen, nicht einverstanden war. Southern Railway X791 is a Bay Window Caboose whose life began in 1916 as a Ventilated Boxcar for the Central of Georgia. Later the COG had it rebuilt into its current Caboose configuration and gave it the number X92. The Southern Railway would later inherit the caboose, giving it its current number. Today it resides in Savannah at the Georgia State Railroad Museum which i happened to visit in January 2024: youtu.be/Wy4L-r6fzlg
