In the 1970s, Nine Nine Nine were England's most perfect fun punk band, just like our German punk band Die Toten Hosen in the 80s. Unfortunately, I never saw 999, although I was often a guest at the Nashville at Earls Court London. Unfortunately, they never performed in our area of southern Germany. According to WiKi, the guys from London had various hits in the UK charts, but of course not in the USA or Germany, where punk wasn't particularly popular in the charts. At the end of their early 70s, 999 brought two cover versions into the UK charts as singles, both of which were US hits in the 60s: Little Red Riding Hood (Sam the Sham & The Pharaos) and Indian Reservation (John D. Loudermilk). The last LP: The Biggest Prize In Sport - is a live LP recorded in 1979. You can see all of the 999 LPs here > Of the 1970s! Hier sieht man die kompletten 999 LPs > In the 1970s!--
