I wanted to capture the creepy feeling of this actress in-between startling the park's patrons (she would scream and then be very quiet); I asked if I could take a couple of pictures of her to see what worked. This photo was taken with my camera's "Night Portrait Mode" where it takes four pictures within a second and stitches them together for one photo. This has worked with varying results. I likely would have gotten a better base image if I had used a tripod, remote trigger, and auto focus. I didn't have a tripod or trigger and as the fog was so thick, I needed to use manual focus, hold the camera very still, and take a photo in-between my breaths and heartbeats.
I ran this photo through my normal Photoshop processes (levels, curves, exposure, gradient map) to bring out different characteristics (shading & lighting). To bring out more details and play around with the colors/toning of the image, I used Nik Software's Color Efex Pro - Pro Contrast and Analog Efex - Classic Camera 5 to get the look I wanted and an image I felt was good enough to post and share.
My wife observed something amusing with this performer. After screaming at a group, one teenage boy yelled, "Can I have your number?" She broke character and responded, "Kid, you're like twelve. So, no."
