I decided to try a Moving Frame Within a Frame. And since its hard to get Individual consent on using photographs of people, I decided to Remove there Heads with a little adjustment of the camera.

I was taking random shots of my friends when I came across two crows perched on the railings of the roof of my hostel.
These Ravens are known to be camera shy so I shot from the waist down.
This Resulted in a rather Interesting Shot.

I am seriously in love with this location! The light there this evening was unbelievably wonderful too.

Also I feel like these boots might become like my signature...I've had them for years, and they've appeared in so many photos!

You know something? Over the years I've seen my share of hard times.
From the severe bullying I experienced in primary school, the struggles of moving countries twice, my first heartbreak at 16, assorted other relationship disasters, and extreme grief following the loss of grandparents, to my battle with adrenal fatigue that I've been fighting for the last 2 years.
All those things are difficult in different ways, and sometimes I feel like there is no way I'm going to get through it - but I always do.
I always come out the other side.
I always find something that keeps me going.

Sometimes that's been photography.
Sometimes it's a particular person that makes me feel positive about me and my life again.
And sometimes it's just a special moment that reminds me that it's good to be alive.

After I finished this shoot today I had to walk about 20 minutes to get home - as soon as I started packing up my gear it started raining. Not really heavily, but it was steady for the whole walk home - but I loved it.
It was a warm summer day, and the rain cooled it down to a very comfortable temperature. There aren't many things I love more than the smell of summer rain.

I smiled the whole way home :)
I forgot everything that was troubling me.
I was simply happy to be alive. To be able to feel that rain on my face.

So, even when things seem dire, I know there is always a way through to the other side.

To quote the Hannah Montana Movie (don't judge - it was worth watching the movie just for this line!)
"Life's a climb - but the view's great"
