I spotted a 1902.

I see where somebody had the bright idea to incise shallow grooves into the mortar joints. Well, okay!

In w. Maryland a wondrous Citgo w/Pick'n'Go. by Tim Kiser

In w. Maryland a wondrous Citgo w/Pick'n'Go.

When I was a child I used to daydream about converting the Pick'n'Go building into a house for my family. I'd imagine different ways of dividing up the interior space.

The rounded square pump canopy is adorable. The red-orange-green-yellow color scheme of the building's roof and its signs is adorable.

Woah, the building is from 1972!, according to the State of Maryland's "Real Property Data Search" website.

I would never put the word "pick" in the name of a business because people associate it with people picking boogers, people picking at scabs, people picking their shorts out of the cracks of their asses then sniffing their fingers, etc. Gross!

So cute!, in its beige-and-tan Formstone.

Go in and tell the laundry staff you think their building is cute.

I bet it was expensive to build and install the protective case for the historical bell-shaped neon sign.

According to the State of Maryland's "Real Property Data Search" website, the building is from 1875!, wow! And we can safely assume that the Formstone was applied circa the 1940s-1960s.

I got a 1906!, in Cumberland. by Tim Kiser

I got a 1906!, in Cumberland.

According to the authors of the federal documentation form for the Washington Street Historic District the house is "faced with concrete block with Georgian Revival detailing," by which they mean the quoins I guess?, sheesh.

Personally I am glad I don't feel like I need to run around declaring a damn Georgian Revival everytime I see quoins.

A 1914!, with its 1914 datestone, and an unusual pattern of rectangular mouldings for its nonwindows.

I hardly ever think about about Commercial Press but I am literally constantly unhealthily obsessed with Bodyshapers. Badly!
