The female bores a small hole in selective grass and cereal stems in which it lays an egg. As the larva feeds on the stem's interior tissues this results in stunted growth and in high population times this can cause significant cereal crop damage.

I made this picture a year ago in the forest"Mastbos" near the city Breda where I life, with a simple digital camera. I forgot to upload it.
I also went iceskating on a lake.That was cool. It's very rare to do these days in the netherlands.

Ik heb deze foto een jaar geleden gemaakt bij het mastbos in Breda. Ik had er een simpele digitale camera voor gebruikt. Daar heb ik ook nog geschaatst. dat is vrij zelden dat dat tegenwoordig nog kan dus ik nam het ervan.
