The ancient tavern stood at the edge of the abyss, its windows glowing with a sinister, flickering orange light that promised no warmth to the weary traveler. Above the thatched roof, a sickly green mist rose from the spectral mast of a ghost ship, signaling that the sisters had gathered to weave their final curse. The air grew heavy with the scent of damp earth and sulfur, as the moonlight struggled to pierce through the skeletal branches of the surrounding forest.

Deep within the shadows, the hunters waited in silence, their cold steel etched with runes of protection. They knew that behind those glowing arches, the witches were chanting melodies of old, unaware that the emerald beacon intended to guide their spirits would soon become their funeral pyre. As the first bell tolled, the hunters moved like ghosts themselves, ready to extinguish the unholy flames and return the night to its natural, silent peace.
