I mean yeah there's mud, but I was expecting a bizarre spectacle of extreme muddiness.

The riverbank shrubs that are greener than everything else are probably invasive right?

In Oak Openings Preserve Metropark in Swanton Township in Lucas County, Ohio, on April 24th, 2020, Swan Creek as viewed from an overlapping section of the Oak Openings Hiking Trail and the Beach Ridge Bike Trail.

Swan Creek flows to the Maumee River, which flows to Lake Erie &c &c.

According to the map in the 1980 soil survey of Lucas County, soils here are predominantly alluvial loam, Mollisols (Fluvaquentic Endoaquolls) of the Sloan series, occasionally flooded.

In Oak Openings Preserve Metropark in Swanton Township in Lucas County, Ohio, on April 24th, 2020, on an overlapping section of the Oak Openings Hiking Trail (yellow blazed) and the Beach Ridge Bike Trail.

According to the map in the 1980 soil survey of Lucas County, soils here are predominantly fine sand Entisols (Aquic Udipsamments) of the Ottokee series formed on postglacial beach ridges and dunes.
