There's a path from me to you
I'm constantly looking for,
so I try to keep clear and still
as water does with the moon.

I took this from the ferry coming back from Vancouver Island 10 days ago. To me, there is such a feeling of calmness looking out over the water as the sun starts to set....
I was the only one on the deck, which made it extra special, even though there were hundreds of people on board. It was so cold I could only stay out for a short time but the biting air felt so refreshing.
Revisiting and re-processing old files is fun.

Went boat-tripping with hubby on Monday morning. We've had nothing but howling wind for months on end, it blows from the north, flips around and blows from the south. All this makes for one very unhappy chappy who loves being out on the ocean. There was a break in the weather so we took off into the blue yonder in search of dorado. This usually means a very long trip out there and often in bumpy seas when someone decides to turn on that big fan :))
I decided not to take my camera and long lens as there'd probably be too much pounding on the ocean if the wind came up and boy was I right. Balmy conditions in the morning and got totally drenched in choppy seas on the 24km return trip. All good fun though. I got this shot on my phone on the way out of Durban bay early that morning.
