Almost all the blooms on this rosebush have faded now, but just last week the branches were so loaded with blooms they were weighed down by the sheer number of them.
This climbing rosebush has put on quite a show this spring. Now to rest up a bit for the next round of blooms. We're already looking forward to see what comes next, and when!
Just a few days ago these were just rosebuds, but once they finally opened, I had to grab the camera. Not all the blooms have sported that dual toned beauty that these are showing. Soft creamy yellow rosed with a hint of pink on the edges!
The springtime is then that pink hue is most visible, but as spring turns to summer and then fall, the rosebush doesn't bloom as frequently, nor are the blooms as full and colorful as these in spring are. Still beautiful but that pink blush isn't as evident.
There are still more buds, so there might be a few more photos when they open, too. Fair warning. 😊
