JULY-2020: Steven W. Brewer and I HAD THOUGHT this is Cynometra bauhiniifolia. In April 2020 we found a number of individuals in the same locale with laterally compressed fruit, like my March 2016 photos.
In June Steven returned to trees he collected specimens from in April and he collected significantly more developed mature fruit. Steven NOW believes this is NOT C. bauhiniifolia, but a Cynometra species yet to be determined.
