It's a bit of, well, a low-key way to start off this second half of the rally, but after that relative non-starter at the SYTM, here we are at the premises of the South Yorkshire Transport Trust, the real hub of SYPTE 50 celebrations. First off the blocks was an operator I've always wanted to catch myself: Hulleys of Baslow, although... maybe I've caught this one a little too late. Formerly decked out in a blue and cream heritage livery as late as last May (even if it was a big dinged up), this E200 has been painted in what appears to be the latest version of Hulleys fleet livery, based on that of new acquisition Go-Coach of Sevenoaks. Unless its the opposite and this is going to Go-Coach?
Seen picking up passengers on a... non-heritage run around the block, really, Hulleys of Baslow's YX11 CSY, a 2011 ADL Enviro200 new to Whitelaw's of Stonehouse, is seen a short walk away from the South Yorkshire Transport Trust premises on the Eastwood Trading Estate.
Contrasting single-deckers are standing side by side in Crystal Peaks Bus Station.
On the left, TM Travel 1207 is a Scania K230UB OmniLink with Scania bodywork which was new in 2007 as UniversityBus, Hatfield 353,
On the right Hulley's 23 is an Alexander Dennis Enviro200 which was new to Whitelaw, Stonehouse in 2011.
The Blackburn Bus Company (Transdev) Wright Eclipse bodied Volvo FJ58LTT (1865) arrives at Manchester Chorlton Street, on the Red Express X41 service from Accrington.
To the right is Hulleys of Baslow's Alexander Dennis Enviro 200 YX11CSY (23), that will work the 12.00 Manchester-Sheffield (13.50) service, on the final day of Snake X57 operations.
