The vehicle depot of the Shiba Railway Bureau was located between Inage Station and Nishi-Chiba Station. Diesel trains operating in the Boso region, which were not electrified, were based there. The unpainted 35-series train in the siding at the back is believed to be a prototype with a stainless steel body. It is recorded that 10 stainless steel cars were manufactured.
