Cathay Pacific Cargo Boeing 747-400F B-LIA is photted shortly after arrival at Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport on a crisp morning of Thursday 04th January 2024. The purpose built cargo aircraft had just arrived as flight CX37 from Delhi and after a few hours on the ground would depart as CX2038 to Amsterdam.

The aircraft as line number 1404 took its first flight on 10th May 2008 and was delivered to Cathay Pacific two weeks later on 23rd May and has remained with their cargo division ever since.

This was a bit of an unusual location for me as when we operate to CDG we park towards the centre of the airfield with no opportunity to take photos of other aircraft except for what is on adjacent stands (and they are always company aircraft so no point really) but on this occasion we were put on a remote stand miles away from our usual spot and thus had some opportunities to snap passing aircraft so it worked out quite well really :)

Dragonair Cargo Boeing 747-300F B-KAC is seen passing the Aviation Viewing Park at Manchester Airport on 28th March 2004. Back then Manchester had a pretty impressive number of cargo flights passing through the airport with daily flights from Dragonair, Air Hong Kong, Cathay Pacific Cargo, China Airlines, Polar Air Cargo and odd visits from some others too...

This aircraft was delivered new to Malaysia Airlines as 9M-MHK in July 1986 as a "combi" (passenger and cargo aircraft). In November 1998 she was converted to a full freighter and remained with Malaysia Airlines until April 2002 when it was acquired by Dragonair of Hong Kong where she remained until withdrawal in September 2008 and was broken up the following April.

Taken on my first digital camera, an Olympus of some sort and photographed from the Terminal 1 car park roof (level 13) back when Manchester had a good variety of airlines and aircraft...

The aircraft had been delivered new to China Airlines a few years earlier in July 2000 and would remain there until 2021 when it was stored at Victorville, Air Atlanta Icelandic acquired the aircraft in August 2022 and re-registered TF-AMD with the airline placed with JetOneX until it was withdrawn and stored in June 2023.
