First flown with the Airbus test registration F-WWKY, this aircraft was delivered to AerCap and leased to Virgin Atlantic Airways as G-VSXY in Feb-11. It was withdrawn from service and stored at London-Heathrow in Mar-20 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
It was moved to Doncaster, UK in May-20 and then to Manchester, UK in Aug-20. It ferried to Dresden, Germany in early Oct-20 for a scheduled undercarriage replacement. It returned to Doncaster at the end of Oct-20 and remained stored until it returned to service in late Jan-21. Current, updated 16-Mar-25.
First flown in May-18 with the Airbus test registration F-WWKV, Hainan Airlines were not ready to take delivery and the aircraft was stored at Chateauroux, France in Jun-18.
It returned to Toulouse in Sep-18 and after another three months in storage, it was delivered to Hainan Airlines as B-1096 in Dec-18. Current.
