1979 National Enquirer - Adam & Eve Were Astronauts

Vintage January 14, 1979 issue of the National Enquirer, the World’s Liveliest Newspaper, with the headline Adam and Eve Were Astronauts. Great cover story that embraces the true pulse of the newspaper - that of a real “ rag”. It’s always a thrill when it’s from Vinnie DeVille!

Adam and Eve

Great afternoon with my friend Selina. We saw a matinee at La Mirada Theater. The Journals of Adam and Eve with Hal Linden and Sally Struthers. I'm a big fan of Sally's. I've seen her several times over the years in theatre. My favorite play that she did was Alway Patsy Cline. She's so cute. I'm happy to see she is doing really well and looks great. Hal Linden is 93 and looks better in person than I captured him here.

Great West window, Glasgow Cathedral

The great west stained glass window, in Glasgow Cathedral above the nave, was installed in 1958 by Francis Spear to replace an older faded window. The window, entitled 'The Creation', features Adam and Eve. Across the bottom are the words from Genesis 3:23 "therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the Garden of Eden to till the ground from which he was taken". Glasgow, Scotland.
