Great afternoon with my friend Selina. We saw a matinee at La Mirada Theater. The Journals of Adam and Eve with Hal Linden and Sally Struthers. I'm a big fan of Sally's. I've seen her several times over the years in theatre. My favorite play that she did was Alway Patsy Cline. She's so cute. I'm happy to see she is doing really well and looks great. Hal Linden is 93 and looks better in person than I captured him here.
The great west stained glass window, in Glasgow Cathedral above the nave, was installed in 1958 by Francis Spear to replace an older faded window. The window, entitled 'The Creation', features Adam and Eve. Across the bottom are the words from Genesis 3:23 "therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the Garden of Eden to till the ground from which he was taken". Glasgow, Scotland.

Creation sequence. 12th cent. Duomo or Cattedrale di Santa Maria Nuova di Monreale, Italy. Inscription: Trahens Lamec arcu suo interfecit Caym (Drawing his bow, Lamech kills Cain). This is a depiction of a legend that grew from the obscure verses Genesis 4: 23-24. These do not say explicitly that Cain was killed or that Lamech killed him, let alone with a bow and arrow.
