Carpathian lynx, kitten - Lynx lynx carpathicus, a subspieces of the Eurasian Lynx, the Carpathian Lynx is found in Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, Ukraine and Bulgaria. This individual is one of two Kittens / Cubs, born at Dartmoor Zoo, South Devon UK, home of "We bought a zoo". I'm not sure of the correct term, i.e. kitten or cub, all cats are Felidae, but linxs, cheetahs and house cats and multiple other species are Felinae, where as the Big cats, Tiger, Lion, Jaguar, Leopard and Snow Leopard are Pantherinae, it is those species I think of in terms of cubs and I think Felinae should be kittens.
