The Skatewing is a wacky winged skateboard apparently invented in the 1980s by Ben Lexcen, an Australian yachtsman. This yellow skatewing was seen on June 28th, 2021, in the window of Rookery skate shop, located back then at 151 rue Richelieu (they've seen moved across the street) in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Québec.

My great grandfather visited this same barn back in the early-mid 1900’s. Horse and wagon he made the trip here to draw hay. Those days are gone but the barn still stands as well as the light shining above from the heavens.
