Delivered on 29th April 1999, this A330 (200 series) was acquired to launch direct services from Dublin to Los Angeles.
It served for 20 years until April 2020 when it was flown to Shannon for storage due to the COVID crisis. After over a year in storage the airline decided to part out the aircraft.
It made its final flight on 30th July 2021 from Shannon to Knock Airport where the aircraft was later broken up by Eirtrade Aviation.

Named: "Mella / St. Mella"
First flown with the Airbus test registration F-WWKV, this aircraft was delivered to Aer Lingus as EI-LAX in Apr-99. It was sub-leased to Novair Sweden in Nov-13 and operated charter flights between Scandinavia and the Caribbean. It returned to Aer Lingus in Apr-14.
The aircraft was withdrawn from service in Mar-20 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and initially parked at Dublin, Ireland before being moved to Shannon the following month for long term storage. At the end of Jul-21 the aircraft made it's final flight to Knock, Ireland where it was permanently retired. Updated 30-Jul-21.
