This was the worst part of the day at Blackpool - when I was doing my final round-up before going home and finding rare things like this that had sneaked in while I was elsewhere. Then I had to decide whether or not it was worth taking a slide of it, or if I should just try and forget I had seen it ! I took this one ....
Only seven DAF MB200s received a Plaxton Supreme VI body during its solitary year of production in 1982. This one had been new to Garrett's of Newton Abbot as VTT 14X, and had acquired the LAT 662 plate during its later ownership by Lattimore Coaches of Markyate, Herts. Border Travel at Galashiels bought it in 1991, but they sold out to Lowland in 1992, and it had its longest spell with one owner there, until departing for scrap in 2000.
