Building the Le-Koro Highway was a major undertaking for villagers of both Wahi. Wiri and Toki worked on the project for years on either end, only meeting once it was completed. They became fast friends, and when the Matoran returned to Metru Nui after its rediscovery, Wiri would join Toki in Le-Metru. They were recorded as roommates on the census following reconstruction efforts.
