Photographed at Gunwalloe Cove on the Cornish Lizard peninsula this sign is intriguing, but may be placed there in memory of a gentleman called Derek Kneebone who died around 2021 n his late 70's. He was from a well known Helston family and was a pharmacist. He died in nearby Porthleven and very much enjoyed walking to Gunwalloe.
Sitting just off the Cornish coast at the Lizard point, England's most southerly coast, these outcrops are full of potential danger for the unwary sailor.
