Both 4233/4 headed across the river to Southend (AKT) on Saturday 22nd. In return, MMCs 6500/1 came South. These will be the main stalwarts on the NHS contracted 6X route, stipulating ‘new’ double-deckers. 4106/8 will be transferred to Maidstone in due course, with another GN07 E200 coming down to join sister 3983, which was officially transferred.
