Originally built as Residence Porta Nuova, nowadays it serves as NH Milano Grand Hotel Verdi.
One of the hotel’s most impressive and quirky features is its shape. Designed in 1973 by the prominent Milanese architects Marco Zanuso and Pietro Crescini, its exterior is inspired by that of large cruise ships.
