Acercándose al lugar, estremece "escuchar" el absoluto silencio, estremece contemplar la profunda y kilométrica herida hecha en la montaña, tiempo atrás, para extraer el carbón.
Es la abandonada mina a cielo abierto que se extiende en tierras leonesas desde Ciñera, hasta Santa Lucía de Gordón.
¡Desolación y abandono!
