Long-Eared Owl - I guess nobody doubts that name! This one was so well hidden in the trees, I simply couldn't see it. Thanks to another photographer I finally found it after a several minutes lasting search. The human eye was only able to see a shadow and especially a countless number of twigs. I finally managed quite an acceptable shot after finding the only good spot.

Waldohreule - es gibt wohl keinen treffenderen Namen als den. Diese Eule war so was von gut versteckt in den Bäumen, dass ich sie nur dank eines anderen Fotografen gesehen habe. Das menschliche Auge hat nur vage einen Schatten gesehen und vor allem unzählige Äste. Irgendwann habe ich dann den einzigen Ort gefunden, von wo aus ich fast freie Sicht hatte und diese Aufnahme machen konnte.
