I have to admit that these locos are special favourites of mine, I always wanted to build a model of one, but haven't... yet.
The photographer on the back of the tiny print notes that this is a loco returning from overhaul and is in ex-works condition.
The loco belongs to LNER Class N5 - originally Parker GCR Class 9C 0-6-2T - built 05/00 by Beyer Peacock & Co. The original number was GCR No.930.
It was withdrawn in February 1960 from 41F Mexborough... after sixty years of faithful work!
