The Plain Parakeet is native to the forests of southeastern Brazil. Averaging around 9 inches long. This bird thrives in a variety of habitats, from tropical rainforests to urban parks and gardens. The Plain Parakeet’s range is limited to the southeastern Atlantic Forest region of Brazil. Its diet consists of fruits, seeds, nectar, and occasionally insects.
