Now I know what you are thinking, that there doesn't appear to be anything demonic in this picture. I will grant you that it would be easy to reach that assumption. However, this is no ordinary book. This is The Waste Lands, the third book in Stephen King's masterpiece, The Dark Tower. And this is no ordinary page in this book, but the page where our heroes, Roland, Eddie, Susannah, Jake and Oy, are trying to gain entrance onto a monorail train named Blaine.
Blaine is a pain, and has given our heroes just a few minutes to answer a riddle before he will open the doors. I say that they have just a few minutes because Blaine has set in motion a plan to kill all of the inhabitant of the city of Lud by releasing toxins into the air. The sequence of numbers on this page holds the key to solving the riddle. Our heroes need to board that train named Blaine (who is such a pain) before they are killed along with the citizens of Lud.
Blaine truly is demonic.
