" Willi " by libra1054

" Willi "

Willie ......was a young white rhino bull who was born on January 8th, 2020 in Dortmund Zoo and unfortunately died on March 23rd, 2021.
Willi suffered from colicky stomach pains, which very quickly became life-threatening.
The intestinal obstruction has caused fluid to back up in the abdominal cavity.
As a result, inflammation developed, which released toxins from the intestine.
Willi would therefore probably not have survived the night and was euthanized.
The statement from the zoo states: the autopsy revealed: intestinal obstruction....
The only consolation: it was a natural, organic cause.
