For the final day of our "Not-at-MediaWest*Con" Memorial Day weekend, we went to Omaha for breakfast at a new place, did some shopping, saw "Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes", and returned home and watched a couple episdes of "Emergency" on a cable tv channel. 5/27/2024

Another year of "Not Going to MediaWest*Con" over the Memorial Day weekend -- mainly because that convention ended in 2019. But we still carry on the traditions. Since we don't have a "Steak 'n' Shake", which was a MW*C tradition for us, we had supper at Freddy's Steakburgers tonight instead.

We discovered the Uni Place restaurant we originally wanted to try tonight — Sabor Latino — was closed, with a handwritten “reopening soon under new management” sign in its window, so we drove to nearby HF Crave. I had a Hot Ham & Cheese with sweet potato fries — delish!
