Like almost all RNHF aircraft, WG655 was only ever painted in one basic colour scheme, in this case an aircraft of RNAS Eglington Station Flight.

WG655 taxiing during the build up to Flying Legends 2010. At the time the aircraft was fitted with a Bristol Centaurus engine and registered as NX20MD. The aircraft rejoined the UK register in 2012 as G-CHFP and the Centaurus engine was subsequently replaced with a Pratt & Whitney R-2800 Double Wasp. The Sea Fury was sold by The Fighter Collection to Shaun Patrick in July 2018 and re-registered at G-INVN. The aircraft suffered major damage as the result of a forced landing after suffering engine failure on 4th August 2020.
