I almost lost my lucky hat at Tân Sơn Nhất airport. This hat has been my constant companion since my assignment to the Sinai Peninsula in July 2011. 30 minutes after I passed through security, I noticed it was missing. The only place I thought it might be was at the x-ray machine, right before the passport exit control area. So I went back to the immigration check, and they let me go look! And there it was, still there right by the machine-did it fall out of the tray? Sorry, dear hat, I promise I will be WAY more careful in the future!
