So much nicer to see them in the wild than in a zoo.
Large unmistakable toucan with a huge, rainbow-colored bill. Often seen in pairs. Despite its large size and bright colors, can be difficult to see in leafy canopy, where it moves deliberately in search of food.
A spectacular and iconic cloud forest bird of Western Colombia and Northwestern Ecuador.
So wonderful to see in the wild.

An attractive small toucan of tropical lowland forest and edge. Usually found in small groups moving through the canopy of fruiting trees or seen flying, one at a time, across clearings and between trees. Flight rather direct and fast, when long-tailed and long-billed shape is distinctive. Note the yellow body with red and black markings, and the serrated pattern on the big bill.
So nice to see in the wild rather than a zoo. This really shows off that amazing bill.

So good to see this parrot in the wild. In fact two of them were roosting in the top of this tree trunk.
Medium-sized parrot, short square tail, body all green with blue head and red undertail coverts.
Great to actually see one in the wild as opposed to a Zoo.

Stunning, ornately-coloured toucan of high Andean cloud forest. While the general plumage pattern is similar to other mountain-toucans, the multicoloured coral, black and yellow-stripped bill separates it from all others.
