Village Little Papiggo, below mountain Timfi's tops.
This traditional village lays below Timfi's high tops. It is build at 960 meters and the houses walls and the roofs are made of stone, which makes the local architecture very special. From there, start many trails, so it is a favorite place for mountain climbers and trekkers. The mountain tops, at the photo, are reaching the 2400 meters! So this little village, seems to have been built in the shadows of giants...!
The last light of the day, gives a golden color, to everything... that's why they call it "golden hour", after all.
Το Μικρό Πάπιγκο, κάτω από τις κορυφές της Τύμφης.
Το Μικρό Πάπιγκο, ένα παραδοσιακό χωριουδάκι, χτισμένο στα 960 μέτρα, κάτω από τις μεγαλοπρεπείς κορυφές της Τύμφης. Τα σπίτια έχουν μία ιδιαίτερη αρχιτεκτονική, με πετρόχτιστους τοίχους, αλλά και στέγες! Από εκεί ξεκινούν και πολλά μονοπάτια, οπότε είναι αγαπημένο μέρος για τους ορειβάτες και τους αναρριχητές. Οι κορυφές των βουνών που φαίνονται στην φωτογραφία, αγγίζουν τα 2400 μέτρα, οπότε αυτό το μικρό χωριουδάκι, μοιάζει να έχει χτιστεί στην σκιά γιγάντων...!
Το τελευταίο φώς της ημέρας, δίδει έναν χρυσαφί χρώμα, στα πάντα... γι'αυτό εξάλλου την αποκαλούν "χρυσή ώρα".
