These tulips have been in this trough over winter. I thought that they might not survive, but here is the first of them. As the heads are so big, I will need to support the stems as the flowers emerge.
This used to be an eight storey warehouse until a fire broke out at the top. The top two floor were removed at the time. These days it is converted to apartments.
