Metre gauge 10hp 4-wheel Petrol/Paraffin-mechanical Ruston Proctor (Works No.50823 built in 1915) in the ownership of Rich Morris and stored on a private farm near Longfield in Kent on 6th September 1970. A batch of these were built during World War I, mainly for use in munitions factories and somewhat ironically, they were essentially a copy of a design by the German company of Deutz. This rare loco eventually became part of Rich's collection at Gloddfa Ganol near Blaenau Ffestiniog, but was never restored and was disposed of, presumably for scrap. Before its acquisition and storage at Longfield, it had previously worked at Explosive Trades Ltd, a subsidiary of Nobel's Explosives Ltd. at Uplees Works, Oare, Kent until around 1920.
