I finished my errands in Torrance at around 4 PM and traffic was expected to be horrible going home. So, I decided to stop by the life drawing workshop at Santa Monica airport to join Stuart Perlman. It's been quite a while since I last did a figure drawing and I got back into it in no time.

Today I discovered that there was an ACT (Alhambra Community Transit) Bus that would literally take me straight to the Joslyn community center. That means I could take my time and had my lunch around the area. So after the portrait session, I went to 99 Ranch next door and had a grilled Tilapia lunch from the Filipino stall inside the store. A 25 oz Foster beer only costs $3.49 - Courtesy of the supermarket. I slept like a baby on the Bus home.
Today's Portrait Session was not so crowded perhaps due to St-Patrick's day! We got a very good model!
"Claudia" @cl0ds @anzzora , a very cool artist who's also a very good painter herself. She agreed with my observation upon fooling around but not messing around!

oday there is a free model session as part of the Weekend of Art event hosted by the Los Alamitos Community Center. So I took the Bus riding through the rain South to sketch. Dinner with friends at Hoff's Hut. Chily cheese soup and chocolate cake.
