The Watched : EPS Tankers' "oil products tanker" named 'Atlantic Blue' recently departed Vancouver and has turned west into the Strait of Juan de Fuca, off Victoria, BC. Destination is Lianyungang, China.

Watcher 1 : SST tugboat (possibly 'SST Salish') is, as per regulations, fastened by a tow-cable to the rear of 'Atlantic Blue' in case of emergency; engine failure, fire, steering malfunction etc.

Watcher 2 : Canadian Coast Guard vessel 'Sir John Franklin' (far right of photo)

Location is off Ten Mile Point, Victoria, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. On the horizon the Olympic Mountains of Washington State, USA heavily topped with cloud.
