Looking South

The Cape Perpetua Overlook is a prominent viewpoint on the Oregon Coast, accessible by car and offering stunning panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. Located within the Cape Perpetua Scenic Area, it's the highest accessible viewpoint on the coast. The overlook is a short walk from the parking area and is a popular spot for taking in the scenery.

As seen by Captain James Cook in 1778. I just read The Wide, Wide Seas about his third voyage (which included naming Cape Perpetua) and it was a great read though very short on the Oregon section given that they just sailed on by.

thor's well and everyone is okay

Always happy to not see some horrible injury as people are not always so smart and this spot is not forgiving.
