Curious grey wolf at Wisentgehege Springe. At first I thought it was interested in people but when I left my camera leaning on a post to get something to drink I realised it was curious about the gear because it kept staring at it. :-D

While the rest of the Sababurg pack was happy to spend the afternoon having forty winks after forty winks after forty winks, these two guys here had apparently decided to hone their hunting skills by throwing around a sheep leg and chasing after it with inexhaustible energy.
Looks like spring is here to stay now and everyone is out and about again enjoying the beautiful sun, including the wolf pack at Tierpark Sababurg. :o)

Like the lynxes, the wolves at Tierpark Sababurg didn't seem too pleased at the prospect of being gawped at again by the re-allowed human visitors.
