Köpenick is a locality (Ortsteil) in the borough of Treptow-Köpenick in Berlin. Before Köpenick became part of Greater Berlin in 1920, it had a long history as an independent town. A large percentage of Köpenick's area is covered with forests and water.
Apparently this area is near an otter rehabilitation area.
