For most residents, making a phone call in Cuba means a trip outdoors to the phone stations like these found on many street corners in Havana. This set is at the corner of Calle 17 and Calle j, Havana, Cuba. If the style of these phone "booths" remind you of the late 1950's and early 1960's - for example the New York Worlds Faire in 1963 had phone stations like these - it's bacuse these date back to that period which is when the US cut ties with Cuba.
