2 sub surface units of London Underground S Stock pass each other going into and out of Rayners Lane station, seen in the distance, on the Uxbridge Branch of the Metropolitan Line. Quite a tricky shot, taken through the heavy caging on the footbridge side of a road bridge on the fringe of Roxbourne Park.

The 483 is now a part-frog, part-B9TL route and continues to be operated out of Perivale (PV), the same base that runs the 7 and the 90 despite all three routes being in completely different areas.
These diesels still have plenty of life left in them; loads of torque, comfortable and dependable. It uses a bit of the North Circular after Hanger Lane/Park Royal before using the Uxbridge Road for its final section with the latter being the slowest part.
LK12AKO (VW1278) is on an early afternoon run to Windmill Lane, Three Bridges via North Wembley and Hanger Lane.

The Leighton family tomb was designed by John Leighton around 1867 following the death of his daughter, Emma Leighton.
Made of granite, the tomb is carved with broad flat ribs in a gothic style which frame brightly coloured triangular mosaic panels of ‘memento mori’ imagery, or carved inscriptions. The tomb is listed Grade II.
John Leighton was a prolific book cover designer in the Victorian period.
