A few of the Mumbai police overzealous racist bigot officers need to be given lessons in etiquette and positive policing, we respect the Police force and we give it prominence in all its good works , but unnecessarily picking up a Midday well known photo journalist having his Press Card on his person and treating him as a terrorist is uncalled for I think it shows that the J Dey case has pushed the Mumbai Police over the brink, and after all it was a Midday eminent Crime reporter who was shot dead in broad daylight , is it because of this that the Mumbai Police is gunning for a Muslim press photographer who is doing his duty.. shame on you guys. Have a heart like you even the Press reporter is doing his duty , his duty is to get pictures and fining him Rs 1200 as though he was begging on the street or a street walker makes me feel you guys are totally insensitive to the members of the Press.

As a photoblogger though much lower in the order of their fraternity I protest and I think the respected Commissioer of Mumbai Police must take action against the erring cops having a name like Sayed or Abidi related to the Holy name of our Imams and be termed as a Terrorist is is a bigger blow to people of the Shia faith let it be known.. Muslims can be criminals but using the same brush to paint the profession of a press photographer is in real bad taste..

I think an apology from the officers is very important... highhandedness and bullying is not the motto of Mumbai Police.. Mumbai Police is of the people by the people and for the people it needs to be more human .. and understanding instead of just jumping to conclusions and humiliating members of the Press.

And I too have faced such situations and I have always written positively about the Mumbai police while they control law order during Moharam Lal Bagh Chya Raja Visarjan Durga visarjan and other feasts festivals I have shot to showcase document Mumbai life..

I am really hurt as an Indian and as a Mumbaikar let it be known

And as for the Supreme Court lawyer who got a second lease on life he has been given a hero's welcome back home.. he is the first one in his family to achieve national honor in the time of strife and despair..locking horns with Wisdom is no cheap task even for a brainless brain dead man with no wit...and coming out alive unscathed is no ordinary fare mind you.. and for the Delhites the difference between an underwear and a swimming trunk...is the same as pond or a river stream...

And my last piece of advice to the government is to buy Wisdom from its present owners and let it remain at Juhu Beach as a national monument as it has generated more crowds than Gateway of India or the Mahalaxmi Dhobi Ghats...it has become a part heart soul of Mee Mumbaikar..
