THE WEST DOOR OF RHEIMS CATHEDRAL, ONCE FAMOUS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD FOR ITS BEAUTY OF DESIGN AND SPLENDOR OF ORNAMENTATION. STATUES, ARCHES AND CARVINGS HAVE SHARED THE GENERAL DESTRUCTION.

ONE OF THE DOORWAYS OF RHEIMS CATHEDRAL LITTERED WITH DEBRIS FROM THE SHATTERED MASONRY THAT FOR YEARS HAS BEEN THE TARGET OF GERMAN ARTILLERY.
