Mama, Rocky and Little Mickey
all waiting for breakfast at -
The Spirit House ;-)~~~

We've been experiencing a cold snap lately.

4:30AM the scooter is being loaded for todays
run out to the temple. Lots of the usual stuff.
Feels like an arctic blast coming down from
the north. A cold wind was buffeting me
all the way to the temple and home.

When I arrived at The Dog Palace my hands
were placed on the muffler shield 4 warmth.
Soon Rocky and Mama huddled around me
giving off their body heat that greatly helped.
Once in The Bingo Room two ear plugs made
from Kleenex were removed. Why were they
in my ears you ask ? Cuz the cold had started
an ear ache and i wanted to stay ahead of it !
The Tube is filled, camera is checked and off
we go. Mama & Rocky doing their job leading
the way to The Broken Concrete Walking Bridge.
Little Mickey met us while crossing the bridge and
then the big dog games start. Rocky & Mama growling
at Little Mickey while as if on cue he falls, rolls then he
squeaks while jumping back up and doing it over an over
all the way to the nuns place. Coffee/tea an photos are given
to the nurse nun. Then away we go with Little Mickey running
way out in front of Mama & Rocky all the way to The Spirit House.

As you can see in this photo they are patiently waiting
for breakfast to begin. No monkey problems today ;-)~
Most likely due to the cold temperatures we're having.

40 minutes later we circle back to the nuns where the
dogs were checked over for any issues, all is good ;-)

While being escorted to The Hooligans Turf I noticed
about 17% of the monkeys had started coming down
out of the jungle. The rest stayed up in the trees.

Had a new little helper this morning. She got to
feed Mr Ed his carrots and apples, she had fun
and I'll post a photo of her in a couple days.

me back through The DMZ to our resting spot.
And what did we do there ? Well, we rested ;-)

Next it's off to The Dog Palace where
all gear was shed in The Bingo Room.

Remounted the scooter and returned
to the nuns. All dogs are brushed an
my field bath takes place in their
water bucket. This takes time.

Slid out the southern exit then quietly
reentered the western entry stopping
at The Dog Palace to feed Molly & Crew.

All chores have been successfully completed.
Time to head home and prepare 4 another day.

Now this next part will be relayed with a heavy heart.
Mr WeeNee BeeNee The Giant Pig Man went into
the dog clinic last night. We observed him not
feeling so good for a couple of days. He is
still there with intravenous lines keeping
him hydrated and pain medications
helping to comfort him. He is not
expected to make it much
longer. So here's the
good part -

He will be with his sister The Worm soon.
And we have many fond memories of
his silliness and goofy WeeNee antics .
Can't remember if he's 11 or 12 yrs old.
Not bad for a rescued jungle dog ;-)~

Abandoned Abused Street Dogs.

Mama is going over the rules once again
with these pin heads who tried to impede
our progress to The Spirit House yesterday.

Lots of primate problems were had on this day
and a long text is included with the insert below.

Rocky and Little Stubby are standing beside of me.
You see Legs The Zoomer up on the big rock while
Mama is pacing around below. The second Mama let
out a serious growl, Legs barked, Rocky and L-Stubby
B-Lined it for the action in order to backup Mama & Crew.

These two alpha males figured the food bag was for them.
They tried to do a sneaky ambush attack but failed miserably.

I'll be resting for a few days then it's back to business as usual.

Abandoned Abused Street Dogs.

Alright, before you go get-en all weird
on me read the story to the end.
This is real life in the jungle !

This all started with Little Stubby chasing a chicken.
Rooster is screaming and running as fast has his
skinny yellow legs could travel. 90 degree turns
were futile as Little Stubby was with him at every
turn. Soon Mr Rooster started using his wings and
got some distance between Little Stubby and himself.

By now the entire temple grounds is up in arms as the
two dozen monkeys that was right here had split, fast !

Mr DJ ran out into the fray, spotted Mr Rocky and Mama
headed his way, did a 180 and ran for safety in the cave
along with Mr Boo Boo.

You see Rocky, Mama and Legs The Zoomer all lined up
over on the right.
To the left is 2-Tone coming in on attack mode. Little Stubby
standing there playing all innocent while Pumpkin The Rascal
has launched herself onto Angel Eyes neck !

Now we'll backup a bit and I'll explain Pumpkins actions.
90% of the time Pumpkin The Rascal resides up on her
personal boulder for safety reasons.This is at the nuns
place which is about 100+ meters behind me.

When she heard Little Stubby screaming after Angel Eyes
bit Stubby on her butt for chasing the chicken Pumpkin
launched herself off the boulder and like a heat seeking
missile, came flying in and attacked Angel Eyes.
I've never seen Pumpkin be aggressive or move so fast ever !

Soon as 2-Tone bit Pumpkins butt both Stubby and Zoomer
attacked 2-tone who soon took off knowing she's in trouble.
Pumpkin continued to teach A-Eyes a lesson for biting her
friend Little Stubby. Mama & Rocky kept an eye on everybody.

When the dust settled Mama & Rocky walked over and stood
close to me. No need to check them over as they didn't enter
into the ruckus. Over the next 15-20 minutes all the other dogs
were check for any damage. What was found didn't amount to
much. Some missing fur, swollen bumps and hurt fragile egos.
This isn't alarming one bit cuz it's their way of blowing off steam.

What was unusual is to see Sweet Pumpkin the Rascal go
completely ballistic and attack Angel Eyes for biting her
friend Little Stubby. Never thought I'd see that from her.
Pumpkin is so sweet an kicked back all of the time.
Lets hope Angel Eyes got the message .. ;-)~

If you want a sterile safe environment then I
suggest a visit to the zoo for your safety.

This is another slice of very real life for the jungle dogs.

In two days we start in on the rabies inoculation program.
That my friends will take sometime, but it's well worth it..;-)
