The extreme low tide reveals what seems to be an old bicycle wheel at the bottom of the river. In the lower left there is a rusted claw mimicking the growl of a dinosaur. This is where the Millstone River meets the harbour. It could have rested here for many years.

What is usually a display of the flags of many nations has been replaced by one flag flow on all poles. I have no idea who decided this - probably the City of Nanaimo because the fllags are on Park Property.
